Contacts are the heart of LeadStrive. Every conversation, automation, and follow-up is anchored to a contact record — so the workflow for finding, reviewing, and managing them matters more than almost anything else you’ll learn.
✅ Finding a contact
There are two ways to locate a contact:
- Through the Contacts section in the left-hand menu.
- Searching by name, email, or phone from the quick search bar at the top left of your screen — keyboard shortcut Ctrl + K (Cmd + K on macOS).
✅ Contact survey or form submissions
Clicking into a contact’s name from the Contacts list takes you into the Contact Details screen.
On the right third of the screen you’ll find the Activity tab (the first of six icons).
The Activity timeline shows every step a person has taken — including any form or survey submissions, which appear as individual blocks.
Anywhere there’s a submission, click the clipboard icon to the right of it to bring up all the data they submitted at that day and time.
✅ How to stop automated follow-ups
Sometimes you need to stop automated follow-ups manually. For example, if you called a contact directly from your personal phone, the system can’t track that call to halt its own automations — you’ll need to do it yourself with the steps below.
This is best done on the desktop browser version of the software.
- Go into the contact.
- Find the button cluster at the top of the screen and click to expand the Bot button.
- Once expanded, click Stop Bot so that it lights up.
Once Stop Bot is lit up, the system halts all follow-up automations to that specific contact.
Marking a contact as Disqualify / Qualified / Booked / Quoted will also halt all default follow-up automations.
