Delete a Conversation with a Contact

💬At times you may need to cleanly wipe an entire conversation with a single contact — perhaps you’re reassigning the contact to a new user (team member), or you just want to keep things clean.

Please note that this only applies to what is in the system. All emails and text messages sent to the contact are still viewable to them on their email/SMS software and devices.

💡See the screenshot below, then follow the step-by-step guide beneath.

Step 1

Go to the INBOX section.

Step 2

Select the All tab to view all past messages.

Note: you can only see messages with contacts that your profile is allowed to access. If you can’t find a certain contact, do this while logged into a profile with Admin-level access.

Step 3

Type the name of the contact into the search bar to find the conversation.

Step 4

With the right conversation selected, click the 🗑️ button on the top right of the conversation window.

This is the confirmation that comes up next. Click OK to process the deletion.

Doing this will only delete the conversation and leave an empty history. It will NOT delete the contact altogether.
