Below is a sample of a good email.
Some points to consider when sending out emails — especially to a new client for the very first time:
- Do not use emojis in the subject line.
- Keep the body copy clean and limit the number of links pointing to different locations.
- You can use the same link multiple times in the body copy if it points to the same location or landing page.
- Limit the use of company logos, signature images, links to other websites, etc.
The more links you have in the body copy, the more likely you’ll get a lower score in HTML Body Practices when testing in Mailgenius. - When creating templates in LeadStrive, use Marketing > Templates (preferable over Marketing > Emails because of its simplicity).
- Deliverability rates (open/click rates) have been shown to increase just by doing this.
- Add an unsubscribe link in the footer.
- Add the mailing address of your business.
