Email format best practices

Below is a sample of a good email.

Some points to consider when sending out emails — especially to a new client for the very first time:

  1. Do not use emojis in the subject line.
  2. Keep the body copy clean and limit the number of links pointing to different locations.
  3. You can use the same link multiple times in the body copy if it points to the same location or landing page.
  4. Limit the use of company logos, signature images, links to other websites, etc.
    The more links you have in the body copy, the more likely you’ll get a lower score in HTML Body Practices when testing in Mailgenius.
  5. When creating templates in LeadStrive, use Marketing > Templates (preferable over Marketing > Emails because of its simplicity).
    • Deliverability rates (open/click rates) have been shown to increase just by doing this.
  6. Add an unsubscribe link in the footer.
  7. Add the mailing address of your business.
